Preparing for Your Visit

Before Your Surgery:

  • Our staff will contact you 3-4 days prior to your procedure between the hours of 8:30am to 3:30pm Mon-Fri. We will be obtaining a health history, give you instructions and answer any questions you may have.
  • You will be given instructions on what you should or should not eat and drink.
  • Instructed on an adult family member or friend to be available the entire day of your surgery to bring you to the center and home.
  • You must have someone available to stay with you up to 24 hours following your surgery.
  • Notify your surgeon if you experience a change in your physical condition, such as, fever, cold, or changes in skin condition around the surgery area.
  • A staff member will call you the day before your surgery between the hours of 1pm and 3pm to confirm your surgery time.

Day of Surgery:

  • Please bath or shower prior to coming to the Center. Wear loose and comfortable fitting clothes.
  • Bring a list of your current medications, include over-the-counter medications.
  • No make-up, body lotions, perfumes, and moisturizers.
  • No contact lenses or body piercings.
  • Leave all jewelry and valuables at home. The Center is not responsible for lost or damaged property.
  • Arrive at the time that was given to you by the staff the day before.
  • The Anesthesiologist will speak to you and answer any questions you may have prior to your procedure.
